my Diversity

Employee PowerNets

A PowerNet is a voluntary association of employees who come together to support each other and the company’s diversity and inclusion strategy through professional development, education, networking and support of the company’s market and community involvement initiatives.

PowerNets conduct educational programs and activities, community events, establish support and visibility for their identity group, serve as a business resource to the company and promote career development. PowerNets consider issues of common interest to the employee group exclusively in relation to working at Lance, and share learning opportunities for those with different dimensions of diversity.

Being a member of a PowerNet can provide opportunities to network and share experiences with other employees. PowerNets offer professional development opportunities, provide a forum for interacting and communicating with members of other PowerNets, serve as a conduit for information that can enhance performance and career development and support educational opportunities and community involvement.

All PowerNets are educational groups with one goal:  the 1Lance goal. While members will be employees with a common affinity, any Lance employee is welcome to join the activities and meetings.

The ultimate goal for all of our PowerNets are to support the 1Lance philosophy, support the ways in which we reach our objective of being a great place to work, and follow the path identified by our vision and values.
