How does the ERC work?
The ERC is a service center for all Lance employees staffed by HR professionals that will handle HR related calls and emails. The HR Advisors will issue a ticket for each call and work with the appropriate department to come to a resolution. Once the issue is resolved, the resolution is communicated to the employee by the Advisor and the ticket is closed.
Why should I call the ERC?
The purpose of the ERC is to provide great customer service to our employees by answering questions and acting as a triage to help bring quick resolution to employee issues/concerns. While this does not replace the field HR team, the ERC should be the first point of contact in order to be able to answer questions and escalate those issues that need to be handled by field HR. In addition, the ability for the ERC to report on the types of questions/issues that arise will be based on the calls that are received.
What types of questions will the ERC respond to?
The ERC will respond to questions that pertain to benefits, payroll and general HR policies and procedures.
What are the ERC’s hours of operation hours?
The hours of operation are 8am to 6pm EST.
What will I need when I call the ERC?
Employees will need to provide the HR Advisor with their employee ID number. This will allow the HR Advisor to retrieve the employee record, verify the employee and resolve their issue quickly.
Can I email or leave voicemail messages for the ERC?
The ERC has a designated email: ERCsupport@lance.com. There is also the option to leave a voicemail once an employee calls the ERC and they are placed on hold for an Advisor. The intent is that the employee calls and speaks to an Advisor to give the employee the quickest resolution.
How quickly can I expect a response to a voicemail or email?
The goal of the ERC is to respond to all voicemails and emails within 24 hours.
How do I access Ultipro to view my paystubs?
For Employee Self Service through Ultipro, please visit https://employee.lance.com from outside the Lance network (home, library, etc.) or http://ultiweb from inside the Lance network (work computer or company laptop.) Please contact the ERC for assistance with login information.
